HOW IT WORKS

CONSULTATION
We begin with the end in mind. What are your goals?  Are you looking for fine art portraiture to display on your walls in frames or as canvas, or maybe an album filled with beautiful portraits to share and cherish? I believe that your portraits should come in a tangible form and have carefully selected some of the finest products available.
The initial consultation can take place over the phone or at your home. We will discuss clothing, locations, goals, and cost.
 
Many of my clients find it helpful for me to come to their home and measure and photograph any walls where they might display their portraits. This allows me to show you exactly what your portrait will look like installed in your home.  This can also help decide what colors you should wear in your portrait.
PHOTOSHOOT

I schedule photo sessions 7 days a week to make it as convenient as possible for my clients. Most photoshoots take 1-2 hours. High school seniors can take the full 2 hours, while young children are usually spent after an hour. It is always best if the parents allow me to develop a rapport with my subjects. Let me be the boss for an hour. I will let you know if I need you to step in!

ORDERING
Approximately 1 week after the session, you will be able to view your proofs in an online gallery. After you spend some time with the photos, we will meet in person, either at my studio or your home to finalize your order. This way, I can guide you and show you your options. The gallery will stay active for 1 month, so we will schedule the ordering appointment well in advance.
 
Using state-of-the-art software and photos of the walls in your home,  I will show your portraits scaled onto your walls, which solves the problem of what size to order; not too big, not too small, but just right!
INVESTMENT

The session fee is $250 for headshots and $295 for families and high school seniors and is due at the time of the shoot. This includes the consultation and the time and talent of the photographer. Individual a-la-carte prints start at $75, and packages start at $495. Most clients spend $1,200 and up.

DIGITAL FILES
I provide a free screen-size file of every print you order. High resolution printable files are included with some packages. Individual a-la-carte high-res files start at $175 and go down in price when you purchase 5 or more.
 
Many people believe that digital files ensure that they will have their photos forever. The truth is that files corrupt, hard drives fail, and formats change. If you love a photo, and want it to be there for future generations, PRINT IT!
